Custom Stage 1 and Stage 2 ECU Remapping
ECU remapping (or tuning) involves modifying the software on your vehicle's engine control unit. A Stage 1 tune is designed for a completely standard vehicle. We optimize parameters such as boost pressure, fuel injection timing, and torque limiters to deliver a significant increase in power and low-end torque, while often improving fuel economy.
A Stage 2 tune takes things further and requires supporting hardware modifications, such as a high-flow exhaust system, an upgraded intercooler, or an aftermarket intake. We custom-write the software to fully utilize this increased airflow, resulting in massive power gains and a highly aggressive, responsive driving experience.

EGR and DPF Solutions
Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valves are notorious for causing major reliability issues. The EGR valve recirculates sooty exhaust gas back into the engine, causing thick carbon buildup in the intake manifold. The DPF traps soot in the exhaust, and if the vehicle is only driven on short trips, it will block up, forcing the car into 'limp mode'.
For road-going vehicles, we offer professional chemical cleaning and forced regenerations to save blocked DPFs, and we can physically remove and ultrasonically clean heavily carboned intake manifolds to restore airflow.
For dedicated off-road, track, or export vehicles, we offer permanent software deletes. We can reprogram the ECU to electronically close the EGR valve and disable the DPF regeneration cycle, allowing for the physical removal of these restrictive components. This permanently solves the reliability issues and allows for much more aggressive performance tuning. (Please note: removing emissions equipment is illegal for on-road use in NSW).
